Locker and TW Materials Return Drive-Thru We will be running a drive-thru in order for students to receive the contents of their locker and to collect Twenhofel issued materials – Chromebooks, text books, library books, instruments, etc.  Pull up to the front door in the student drop off loop and remain in your vehicle. YOU MUST KNOW YOUR STUDENT’S HOMEROOM TEACHER Please follow the schedule below and come on the day according to your student’s grade level.  If you have multiple students in different grades, come during either window and materials for all students will be returned.  If you are unable to come during any window, please call school.  If you checked out a Chromebook or have a Twenhofel issued instrument, it must be returned to the school before receiving your belongings.

8th Grade Bridging Recognition – Tuesday, May 12 On Tuesday, May 12, from 12:00-2:00, 8th grade students and their families are welcome to participate in “Drive-Thru Bridging.”  Come up to school and drive through the student drop off loop – see Twenhofel staff and receive your 8th grade bridging t-shirt and a yard sign for your home.   In addition, there will be a “Virtual Bridging Ceremony” presentation on YouTube.  A link will be made available on Twenhofel’s social media accounts, school website, and distributed through the Breds Broadcast.  We look forward to recognizing our amazing 8th grade students! 
NTI Work Packet Pick-Up Tuesday, May 5 OR Thursday, May 7 are the last days to pick up work packets. The drive through will operate normally from 10:30-12:00; food can be picked up as well.  Work will be given for the remainder of the year on those days. 
NTI Work Drop-Off, TW Materials Return & Food Pick-Up Tuesday, May 12 AND Thursday, May 14 NTI work can be dropped off at the bins by the bus doors from 10:00 – 2:00.  Food only can be picked up in the normal drive-through at the front door from 10:30 – 12:00. If you have a Chromebook or Twenhofel issued instrument to return, pull up to the front door, stay in your car, and call the front office at 859-356-5559. 
Report Card Mailing Final 4th quarter report cards will be mailed home at the end of May.

KCSD Calendar Update Students’ last day of school & NTI work is Tuesday, May 12. 
NTI Work Due Date The final day to turn in NTI assignments Thursday, May 14.   
Track Athletes and Chorus Refunds Next Wednesday, May 13, from 11:30 – 2:30 there will be a drive through for track athletes and chorus students. - Track athletes – Bring your uniform to return and we will refund your athletic fee and give you your sprit wear and pictures.  Uniforms must be returned to receive refunds and/or pictures and spirit wear. Please be looking for an email from the track coaches for more information.  - Chorus students – If you paid a fee for a trip or assessment, your money will be refunded at this time.   If you have questions about whether you are receiving a refund, call the school, 859-356-5559. 
Yearbooks  Due to a plant being shut down in CA, our yearbooks are not scheduled to ship until the end of June.  We apologize for the delay; we will communicate a distribution and sale plan when we have more information about the arrival date.  Thank you for your patience.    
School Meal Pick-Up Options Thursday, May 14th will be the last day for families to pick up school meals at Twenhofel Middle School. Whites Tower Elementary will continue to be open for pick up for all Twenhofel families who are interested in receiving school meals over the summer. Beginning the week of May 18th, Whites Tower will be open for drive-through meal pick up on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 12pm. Piner and Beechgrove Elementary schools will also be open for pick up on the same days and times.  Twenhofel families are welcome to visit the school most convenient for them.  Families will continue to be able to pick up multiple meals at a time. Food/Household Assistance For any family who may find themselves in need of additional assistance in regards to food or household needs, Mrs. Koehler in the Twenhofel Youth Service Center will continue to be available throughout the summer.
