KCSD 1:1 Technology Initiative

Piner 1:1 Technology Initiative

All Piner students will have access to Chromebook device for the 2020-2021 school year.   Devices for students in K, 2, 3, 4, and 5 will be assigned from current inventory.  First grade students will also receive current inventory until new devices arrive.

Piner is excited to announce the new 1:1 Chromebook initiative adopted by the Kenton County School District.

Families will receive a new Chromebook device for each first-grade student in their household.  These will be issued to families as soon as they arrive.

Beginning in the 2020-2021 school year, all first-grade students will be assessed a technology fee of $50.00.  This annual fee will be assessed each year to students as they are promoted.

In fifth grade, the KCSD will transfer ownership of the device to each participating family enrolled here for all years and students will then own the Chromebooks.
