KCSD Plan for Safe Return to In-Person Instruction

Hello Team Kenton,

We hope everyone is having a great summer. The Kenton County School District is looking forward to a great 2022 school year. The first day of school is Wednesday, August 18th and we encourage you to review our current return to school plan. Please read the plan and know that we are committed to following this guidance with the understanding that we have to allow for flexibility within the nature of this plan due to unforeseen circumstances.  We encourage everyone to get vaccinated and follow the recommendations so that we can continue to return to a sense of normalcy.

We learned so many lessons from the past year, and most importantly how vital communication is for our continued success. We want to increase our efforts and improve and in doing so, the district will produce a monthly newsletter to help create continuity for all stakeholders. Please sign up here to receive and learn more about the positive news and programs our district has to share not only locally but across the Commonwealth.

Also, the district has exciting information to share about providing all day preschool. Early childhood education is imperative to the success of all students and we are grateful to our Board of Education and our district leaders for making this is a priority.

As your superintendent, I am honored to serve this great district and am so proud of the hard work, and dedication of our staff, students and community members. Team Kenton is strong, and we will continue to get stronger, because when we work together, there is nothing we can’t accomplish for ALL Kids. We appreciate the continued support and please let us know if you any questions regarding the upcoming school year.

With gratitude,

Dr. Henry Webb
