The electronic PPR is how educators in Kenton County collaborate to improve instructional practices in the classroom. The electronic PPR includes the evaluation process for teachers.

The following observation forms are completed with information collected from one 5-minute clip of classroom instruction. They are only examples (training documents) of notes which could be taken from observing such instruction. Kenton County guidelines require a formal observation to be at least 20 minutes in length. Each example observation document contains a link to the corresponding video.

Demonstration Conferencing Scenarios

Introduction – Superintendent Tim Hanner discusses the scenario-based training video clips demonstrating teacher/principal interaction within the PPR evaluation process.
Clip #1 –This scenario video demonstrates a live Professional Practices Growth Plan (PPGP) review with a teacher at the beginning of a non-evaluation year.
Clip #2 – This scenario video demonstrates a live simulative review conference with a teacher in an evaluation year.
Clip #3 – This scenario video demonstrates a live mid-year Professional Practices Growth Plan review initiated by the teacher who has completed an objective.
Clip #4– This scenario video demonstrates a live simulative review conference between a principal and her evaluator using the Kenton County Schools Leadership Rubric.
