Prep+ Math Informational Meeting

There will be a Prep+ Math 5th grade student/parent information meeting on Thursday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Summit View Academy cafeteria.

Welcome Mr. Bradford, New River Ridge Principal

Welcome Mr. Bradford!

We are excited to announce that our SBDM council, along with Central Office, has selected a new principal for River Ridge. Mr. Bill Bradford comes to us from Covington Independent Schools where he served as a Principal and Assistant Superintendent.  Mr. Bradford brings excitement and enthusiasm to River Ridge and is looking forward to getting started in his new role.  Mr. Bradford, welcome to the River Ridge community!

The SBDM council would like to thank all parents, community and staff members who provided input through the parent/community survey.  Results from the survey were compiled and used when determining criteria for principal selection. 

Health regulations for the 2015-16 school year

The Kenton County School District, in compliance with Kentucky State Law and regulations from the Board of Health and the Department of Education, would like to remind parents that all children must have certain Health Records on file.

KCSD receives grant from Duke Energy

Duke Energy has given a $25,000 grant to the Kenton County School District in support of the E=WISE and Elementary STEM programs.

Summer Hours and School Information

River Ridge Elementary Summer Hours

The main office will be open for enrolling students:

Mondays - Fridays 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.   The office will be CLOSED from 11:00-12:00 DAILY for lunch.

Summer Food Program Information

The Kenton Couny School District Student Nutrition Department is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

Warm 98 Teacher of the Week

Mrs. Beth Blasingame, first grade teacher at River Ridge, was chosen as the Warm 98 Teacher of the Week.  Beth was nominated by a parent.  She was presented with a plaque and gift cards. The students received admission to CoCo Key Water Park, and a pizza party. Congratulations!
