Back to School Book Fair

A Back to School Book Fair will be held on the stage in the cafeteria during Readifest from 6 to 8 p.m.  Come and shop for books to start the school year off right by reading!  See you on August 13th!

Supply Lists

Supply Lists are posted to the school webpage on the left hand side menu.  You may bring these supplies to Readifest on August 13th.


Readifest will be Thursday, August 13th from 6 to 8 p.m.  Readifest Activities include classroom orientations, school and community resource information, information about assitance with school supplies, YMCA information, Back to School Book Fair, and a free shuttle bus from Piner Baptist.

Clasroom Orientation Schedule:

6:15-6:45 p.m.       AM K and 1st

6:45-7:15 p.m.       PM K, 2nd, and 3rd

7:15-7:45 p.m.       4th and 5th

Document destruction notice

As per the approved record retention schedule of the STATE ARCHIVES AND RECORDS COMMISSION, be it known to all parents and adult students that the Kenton County School District is required to maintain special education records for three (3) years after the date of the last activity. Therefore, the school district will destroy all records it no longer needs three (3) years after graduation or three years after a student exits the district.

KCSD receives grant from Duke Energy

Duke Energy has given a $25,000 grant to the Kenton County School District in support of the E=WISE and Elementary STEM programs.

The Kenton County School District, in compliance with Kentucky State Law and regulations from the Board of Health and the Department of Education, would like to remind parents that all children must have certain Health Records on file.
