We are a Distinguished School!

Today the Kentucky Department of Education released our KPREP test scores for 2014-15. We are proud and happy to report that Piner Elementary has once again been rated a Distinguished Kentucky Elementary School!  This means that our school falls into the top 10% of all elementary schools in the state. Congratulations to our staff and students!  Remaining a Distinguished school is a notable achievement, and reflects hours of hard work by our students, staff and teachers. In the upcoming weeks, the teachers and I will be closely analyzing our test scores to develop our school improvement plan.

If you would like a detailed look at our KPREP scores, you can go to the Kentucky Department of Education webpage and click on the “Open House” button. Then select “School Report Card” and choose “Kenton County School District” and “Piner Elementary.”
