Box Tops Contest Box Tops

Now - February 13, 2017

It’s time for our Spring Box Tops Contest. Thanks to you, we have raised a couple of thousand dollars each school year. A winner will be selected from grades K-2 and from grades 3-5. In addition, one class from K-5 with the most Box Tops turned in will win a Pizza Party!!

Please RETURN IN A ZIP LOCK BAG CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME, GRADE, and TEACHER’S NAME. We do not receive credit for expired Box Tops.

Please check expiration dates on Box Tops, and Bonus Box Tops. Many of these have short expiration dates and should be submitted as quickly as possible.

Kindergarten Registration is Feb. 9

Kindergarten Registration will be Thursday, Feb. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at all Kenton County elementary schools. Students must be turning 5 by August 1, 2017.

KCSD Inclement Weather Policy

The winter can be challenging to our instructional rhythm and overall school operations. It is particularly frustrating when events, scheduled well in advance, have to be canceled or postponed. While scheduling and rescheduling events during inclement weather is challenging, our current policy is to work with each school based on their circumstances to make sure the activity takes place for our students. Positive, proactive communication is necessary for all participants as we work together to disseminate information district-wide. I want to take this time to review how decisions are made when weather takes precedent.
