Dixie Heights prepares for college and career through career fair
The mission of the Kenton County School District is to graduate students prepared to compete in the global work market. To expose students to the work market, Dixie Heights invited over 40 professionals to discuss careers with students.
One of the most exciting speakers was award winning author, Brian Selznick. Mr. Selznick is the Caldecott winning author of The Invention of Hugo Cabret, the book that inspired the Academy Award winning movie Hugo. Mr. Selznick skyped with students about the literary experience.
