All student performance levels in numeracy and literacy will be tracked through the use of data binders. 
Each child will have a numeracy and literacy card that shows current performance in GRADE, GMADE, and DIBELS. Rearch-based interventions are documented along with student progress.
 
Administrative Team, Instructional Coach, Classroom teachers, and Special Education Teachers
Use of binders beginning in October. Monitored twice per month.
Research-based interventions are monitored by-weekly in grade level meetings by the principal, assistant principal and instructional coach. Team will discuss student progress and effectiveness of current interventions. Modifications will be made as necessary, based upon data and progress monitoring.
All students will participate in school scheduled RTI block. 
Classroom teacher will implement appropriate interventions for students working at or above grade level. Title I and special education staff will implement appropriate interventions for students working below grade level.  Interventions will include: Read Naturally, Reading Intervention, SOAR to Success, and Orton Gillingham.

Beginning in September to end of school year.
Evidence includes the results of progress monitoring, analyzing student work samples and results of exit slips as formative assessment. Also, results from GRADE, GMADE, DIBELS Benchmark, and Common Assessments will determine student progress, based on RTI.

Core Content standards will be clearly articulated to students through the use of an “I can” statement and assessed through the use of an exit slip.  
Staff has worked through school-wide and district professional development to create” I can” statements. Teachers follow the district timeline to implement standards through the “I can” statements.
 
Classroom teacher with monitoring by the Administrative Team
Beginning in August to the end of the school year.
Lessons are focused on specific Core Content standards. Student progress is measured through exit slips. Instructional decisions are made based upon the outcome of the exit slip. Administrative team also monitors effectiveness through classroom observations and Instructional Rounds.
Teacher consistently incorporates the use of intentional spiraling/flashbacks with an emphasis on sub-domains where weaknesses exist.
Use of flashbacks will be based upon data analysis, summative and formative assessments, and the KCCT blueprint.
 
Classroom teachers and Special education teachers; Monitoring will take place through Administrative Team Instructional Rounds and teacher observations.
Beginning in August to the end of the school year.
Flashbacks will be graded weekly and monitored to ensure mastery of Core Content.
Teacher consistently utilizes instructional groupings to support learning goals based upon the Core Content
Teachers differentiate instruction and flexible groupings of students based upon the results of formative and summative assessments.

Beginning in August to the end of the school year.
Teachers will record and track individual student progress through the use of the data binders and will report student results through bi-weekly grade level meeting discussions.
 
Through the use of live scoring, teachers will consistently model and work with students to obtain a 4 on open response items. 
Instructional coach is training and monitoring live scoring process. New model for do/plan is being implemented to increase open response scores. Goal calculator will be implemented. Class goals will be set to motivate students.
 
Instructional Coach, classroom teachers, and special education teachers. Monitored by the Administrative Team.
Beginning in October to the end of the school year.
Through the use of the goal calculator, teachers will be able to determine student mastery of core content items.

Students in the areas of free and reduced lunch and students with disabilities will be targeted to increase participation in school activities beyond the classroom. 
We have applied for the 21st Century Grant to help financially support various after school activities and transportation for students who are typically not involved in community activities.

More opportunities for students who do not normally participate in school based activities outside of the school day.
Increase opportunities for students to participate in performance based programs and art based programs. 
Drama coach plans two grade level performances per year: one for primary and one for intermediate. Art experiences take place through district art show and PTA Reflections contest. Students have the opportunity to participate in the Northern Kentucky Honor Choir through an audition process.
