Let's hear it for the 2012/13 school year!!

Welcome back Teachers, staff, students and parents!!

We are looking forward to a fabulous new year with our new Principal Mrs. Wartman and Vice Principal Mr. Schacherer!

I know, I know...you probably don't want to start thinking about school yet, but the PTA is already working to get ready for this school year. We have a few important messages for the parents. We have some important dates coming up, and we are trying to fill a couple volunteer positions. If you can help with either of the positions below please email us and let us know!

COSTUME SALE -- We are looking for a parent, or team of parents to coordinate this event on October 3rd. You will help collect costumes, organize, price & sell the costumes. This is a great event for our school that helps our families find affordable costumes.

STUDENT DIRECTORIES -- Last year we were fortunate enough to have a parent volunteer to make copies of our student directory to hand out to each family. If any parent has the capability of making these copies for us at their place of employment we would greatly appreciate it, just shoot us an email. Last year the Student Directory was an excel spreadsheet format, 6 pieces of paper front and back (11 sides total), the directories were stapled with one staple in the corner. There were about 400 directories copied last year. These numbers could change this year, as our enrollment seems to go up from year to year.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES (please note, there will be more information about these events coming home from the school in the coming weeks)

**Friday, August 3rd -- 4:30-7:30 :: Falcon Fest :: Come to school, meet your teacher, pick up school kits if you ordered them, buy spirit wear, sign up for the PTA and more!

**Tuesday, August 7th -- 7pm :: Kindergarten Parent Night

**Thursday August 9 & Friday August 10 :: Kindergarten Jumpstart

**Wednesday August 15 :: First Day of School
