R.C. Hinsdale Elementary PM Car Rider Procedures and Policy:

Beginning Monday, October 24th, we will be starting a new procedure for afternoon parent pick up. There will now be a continuous car loop. Please see below for the directions. (Map can be viewed on left under "School Info")

  • When entering the main drive from Dudley Rd., pull down the first drive on the left (used to be the exit).
  • Continue down the left side of the driveway to the back of the building (playground).
  • Follow the arrows (going left) around the playground to loop back towards the gym.
  • Pull up to the student loading area by the gym.
  • Students will enter the cars on the driver’s side only (due to traffic on the other side).
  • Exit by pulling around to the left side of the parking lot (used to be the entrance).

Thank you for your cooperation with this change. Please keep in mind that with the entranceway being shorter, cars should not arrive before 3:15pm.
