Enhanced kheaa.com helps Kentuckians plan, pay for college
Kentuckians can find answers to many of their questions about college admissions and financial aid on the enhanced www.kheaa.com
, the website of the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA).
Under its “Parents and Students” section, the site includes sections on planning, selecting and paying for college. It also provides detailed information about state and federal sources of financial aid, as well as tips on money management. A separate section helps guide students through the transfer process.
Students, parents and educators can find links to the Your KHEAA College Connection newsletters, which provide information for students from elementary age to adulthood. Another link takes site visitors to KHEAA’s publications, including Affording Higher Education, which lists more than 5,000 sources of financial aid available to Kentucky students. Some of the publications are available only online, while others are printed. The site includes an online order form for users who want to request copies of the printed materials.
Other sections are geared toward adult students, current and former members of the military, and counselors.
