Team Kenton Foundation seeking submissions for Outstanding Kenton County Graduate Team Kenton Foundation

Know a Kenton County Graduate who is amazing? The Team Kenton Foundation is seeking nominations for an Oustanding Kenton County Graduate.

Kim Mott, Michelle Cobb named new principals

The Kenton County School District is pleased to announce two new principals in our district beginning in the 2018-19 school year. Kim Mott will be the principal at Caywood Elementary, and Michelle Cobb will be the principal at Ryland Heights Elementary.

Registration now open for spring swim lessons at Kenton County Aquatic Center

Registration is now open for spring swim lessons at the Kenton County Aquatic Center at Scott High School.

School Safety Procedures in the Kenton County School District

The safety of students and staff is a primary concern in The Kenton County School District. We believe that parents, students, teachers, administrators, and support staff members all have roles in keeping our schools safe. 

Dixie Heights mock trial team wins state Dixie mock trial team

Congratulations to Dixie Heights Mock Trial team for winning State! They advance to compete in nationals which will be held in Nevada in May.

Congratulations to indoor track teams!

Congratulations to the Simon Kenton and Dixie indoor track and field teams! The SK boys team won the KTCCCA 3A state championship and the SK girls team finished as runner up. The Dixie Heights girls team won the 3A championship.

Simon Kenton girls basketball wins 8th region again

Congratulations to the Simon Kenton girls basketball team, who won the 8th Region Championship and will now go on to compete in the KHSAA Sweet 16 State Tournament.

Important message regarding immunization changes

A recent amendment to the Kentucky Administrative Regulation on the immunization schedules for attending school added new immunization requirements for the school year beginning on of after July 1, 2018.

Scott's Lindsay Fox wins 3rd straight diving title Lindsey Fox

Congratulations to Scott High School diver Lindsey Fox, who won her third straight KHSAA diving title.

Dixie Heights swim team earns 2nd overall in the state Dixie Swim Team

Congratulations to the Dixie Heights High School swim team, who earned state runner up honors at the KHSAA swim meet.

KCSD wrestlers compete at state meet

Congratulations to several KCSD students from Dixie Heights, Scott and Simon Kenton high schools who competed at the KHSAA state wrestling tournament.

Please consider participating in a Kenton County Community Education course this Spring!!  All courses are open to the public.

Preschool Screenings Scheduled

The next Preschool Screenings are scheduled for Friday, March 23 and Friday, May 4, 2018.  If you have concerns about your 3 or 4 year old’s development please call the Preschool Office 859-957-2632.

The Kenton County School District offers an engaging preschool program to area children. The preschool program is available to 3- and 4-year-old children who live in the district and meet eligibility requirements
