KCAIT hosting open house on Feb. 21

The Kenton County Academies of Innovation and Technology (KCAIT) will be holding an open house at their Edgewood campus on Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m.

NKU Announces Teaching and Learning Career Pathway Partnership with Kenton County Schools

Northern Kentucky University’s College of Education and Human Services and Kenton County Schools have partnered to create a new Teaching and Learning Career Pathway. This new program is designed for students wanting to become an educator and will provide opportunities to identify potential future educators.

KCAIT Scholar wins Emperor Science Award Will Broomhead

Congratulations to KCAIT Scholar Will Broomhead, who has won the Emperor Science Award and a $1500 stipend that he is using to purchase 700 foldscopes (similar to microscopes) to donate to five Northern Kentucky schools.

PRESCHOOL SCREENING SCHEDULED

The Kenton County School District offers an engaging preschool program to area children. The preschool program is available to 3- and 4-year-old children who live in the district and meet eligibility requirements

Important message regarding immunization changes

A recent amendment to the Kentucky Administrative Regulation on the immunization schedules for attending school added new immunization requirements for the school year beginning on of after July 1, 2018.
