Tickets on sale for Team Kenton Foundation's Outstanding Graduate Ceremony honoring Doug Pelfrey Team Kenton Foundation

Tickets are on sale for the Team Kenton Foundation's Outstanding Graduate Ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, April 26 at the Newport Aquarium and honor Scott High School graduate Doug Pelfrey.

This event will benefit Kenton County School District Family Resource and Youth Service Centers.

Support your school at KCSD night with the Florence Freedom!

Support your school by attending the Florence Freedom game on Friday, May 18. Tickets are just $10 (which includes all fees), and $4 from every ticket sold will come back to your school! In addition, the Team Kenton Foundation will receive a portion of the profits.

KCSD Board approves School Resource Officers in all schools

The Kenton County School District Board of Education has approved security coverage by police officers in all schools for the remainder of the 2017-18 school year.

 

KCSD EARNS 2018 ENERGY STAR® PARTNER OF THE YEAR – SUSTAINED EXCELLENCE AWARD Energy Star Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence

The Kenton County School District is proud to announce that it received the 2018 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award for continued leadership and superior contributions to ENERGY STAR. KCSD’s accomplishments will be recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 20, 2018.

Congratulations to our NKYEC Award Winners

Congratulations to Melissa Insko from KCAIT and Tiffany Collier from White's Tower, who have been name 2018 Golden Apple Winners by the Northern Kentucky Education Council!

In addition, KCSD also had several student winners, including Collin Richardson (Against All Odds), Emma Wahlbrink (Academic All-Star) and Jacob Vallandingham (Career and Technical Education All-Star).

Important message regarding immunization changes

A recent amendment to the Kentucky Administrative Regulation on the immunization schedules for attending school added new immunization requirements for the school year beginning on of after July 1, 2018.

Dixie Heights swim team earns 2nd overall in the state Dixie Swim Team

Congratulations to the Dixie Heights High School swim team, who earned state runner up honors at the KHSAA swim meet.

Preschool Screenings Scheduled

The next Preschool Screenings are scheduled for Friday, March 23 and Friday, May 4, 2018.  If you have concerns about your 3 or 4 year old’s development please call the Preschool Office 859-957-2632.

The Kenton County School District offers an engaging preschool program to area children. The preschool program is available to 3- and 4-year-old children who live in the district and meet eligibility requirements
